In 2003, I won a scholarship to train at NCDT accredited drama school, The Academy of Live and Recorded Arts in London, where roles included 'Katharina' in The Taming of the Shrew  (dir. Kim Durham), 'Nina' in The Seagull (dir. Stuart Wood) and 'Anne' in The Passing-Out Parade (dir. Lennox Greaves). Since graduating from ALRA, I have worked extensively in theatre, radio, TV and short films playing everything from the leading lady to the evil Krilitane school nurse in Doctor Who!  I am represented by Jackie Nicholson Associates, Regent Street.

Particularly positive reviews were received for performances as 'Louise' in Shoes (Hampstead Theatre Studio), 'Celia' in As You Like It and 'Maria' in Twelfth Night (both at The Cambridge Shakespeare Festival). Reviews of  GamePlan at The English Theatre of Hamburg (2007, played 'Kelly Butcher'): "Powerful"; "The real discovery is Susan Casanove ... putting a dampener on love, to roars of laughter, she comically traipses through the eroticised setting."

Most recently, I have recorded a number of small roles in my own radio play Leaves in Autumn – see latest news for information about downloading this play and others for free from The Wireless Theatre Company.
